Our Hotel , which has an 80-years-old history , was originally established as The Yamagata Hotel and reputation for excellent service drew the patronage of many literary figures of the Taisho period .  Among them was novelist Ryuunosuke Akutagawa who met poet Kanoko Okamoto .
